Rythmik Lytt

Artist terms

Version 1 · 2026-10-06 · plain English, no small print

Rythmik Lytt shows shader art on screens and walls, synced by hand to music. If your shader is here, these are the terms you accept when you tick Join the revenue share on your profile. They are between you and Sam Lateef (Rythmik Lytt).

1. What you give

A non-exclusive licence to show your shader on rythmiklytt.art, in EKKOO Display installations (venues, rooms, shows) and in promotional clips of those installations, including modifications needed to run it (conversion, audio mapping, colour and layering). You keep your copyright. You can keep publishing it anywhere else. Nothing here transfers ownership.

2. What you get

  • Free for participating artists. You never pay for Rythmik Lytt, the site, the player or any installation that shows your work. Joining costs nothing and you can leave with 30 days' notice.
  • Credit, every time. A credit card at the start of each scene names you, on the site and in the room. You may switch it off for your scenes once you have joined.
  • A public profile with your shaders running live, your links and your play counts.
  • A share of the pool. Each month a pool is set from Rythmik Lytt's net revenue (installations and shows; the current rule and amount are shown on your dashboard). Every counted play is one credit, split equally among the artists credited on that scene; your share is your credits divided by everyone's. Payout = pool × your share.
  • Monthly payouts once your balance passes the threshold shown on your dashboard, by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer to the details you give us, after a 30-day hold. Nothing is owed when the pool is zero.

3. What you confirm

That you are the author of the shaders credited to you here, or hold the rights to license them this way, and that nobody else's licence forbids it. If a shader turns out to be someone else's, it comes down and accrued credits for it are forfeited.

4. Leaving

Either side can end this with 30 days' notice by email. Your shaders are removed from the site and from the next Display release; clips already published stay published. Accrued balance is paid out at the next payout run.

5. The honest part

This is a young project with a handful of installations. The pool is small today and may be zero in some months. The numbers on your dashboard are the truth of where it stands; we will not promise more than they show.

6. Changes

If these terms change, you get an email 30 days before, and you can leave under section 4 if you disagree.
